MitchelLake has a proud history of partnering with convergent media ventures, building leadership teams and providing sound Advisory services, which extends in many cases to sitting on client Advisory Boards.
We are now pleased to be able to extend this same high level advisory service to the Advertising and Media markets, from assisting with start-up, business regeneration and restructuring, and Advisory or Board positions.

Mergers & Aquisitions
Our experience, market knowledge and contact network enable us to provide an ideal resource to assist with mergers and acquisitions. We are not accountants, nor lawyers, nor financial advisers. Our role is to help parties achieve successful outcomes from the M&A process by benefiting from market specific commercial expertise.
A third-party Advisor plays a crucial role in the process, and is of benefit to both parties. It allows the Vendors to keep focussed on pipeline fill during what can be a very lengthy process, and helps ensure that post-acquisition there is continuity of revenue. It also removes the principals of both parties from direct confrontation, and eliminates the ill will that can result from direct negotiation.
Our activities for Acquirers include:
• Assisting in the development of acquisition strategies and criteria, where appropriate
• Identifying appropriate target companies
• Initiating contact with target companies
• Facilitating meetings with target company personnel
• Assessing ‘fit’ profile between Acquirer and Vendor
• Talent Due Diligence
• Leading negotiations with the Vendors
• Developing a post-acquisition integration plan

• Providing a Market Attractiveness assessment
• Getting the Vendor ‘Make-Ready’ for sale
• Identifying potential acquirers
• Initiating contact with potential acquirers
• Facilitating meetings with potential acquirers
• Assessing ‘fit’ profile between Vendor and Acquirer
• Leading negotiations with Acquirers
• Monitoring post-acquisition milestones and chairing integration meetings
