How many golf balls can fit in a school bus?

Any ideas? This is a question Google asks its engineering applicants during the interview process.

Sometimes seemingly big complex problems can have very simple but quite logical answers. Great code generally needs to be simple, readable, reusable, scalable, secure and maintainable. Read on if you agree?

This role is about Product Development. You will be working in the Product Innovations team for a very successful company that has a series of very cool web products that require some very serious web engineering. So you might ask what is the difference between web engineering and web development?

Google = web engineering
Basic Websites = web development

Right now we have two roles available:

1 X Senior Engineer which is a combination of hands on engineering, architecture and technical leadership on projects.

and

1 X Engineer which is more focused on engineering with some architecture responsibilities.

In order to do either role you will need the ability to...
  • Write exceptional Objective C code?
  • Performance tune complex Databases?
  • Participate or lead Mobile Application Design?
  • Build complex but visually rich Mobile Applications?
In return you will get:
  • Good work environment (flexible hours)
  • Access to the latest web technology (iPad & iPhones)
  • Great Projects (High traffic applications)
  • Good salary
