General Manager - Sydney

Our client is a leading provider of business intelligence services and solutions within Australia and the region. The business provides solutions that enhance and integrate to optimise the value of business relationships with their customers.  With the appointment of a new CEO the business has re-established its intent in the market and is seeking a driven, commercially astute business leader to drive new strategy and increase revenue growth.

Your role will consist of establishing key relationships within our client's top 20 business customers and partners. You will be accountable for defining and executing a strategy that re-defines this business unit and as a result increases revenue and performance for the group. It is essential you are able to clearly demonstrate and communicate this strategy internally as well as externally and you will be held accountable at CXO group and board levels.

Experience Required:

You will be a thoroughbred in leadership; with a demonstrated track record of building, developing and energising teams. Commercially astute and very strong analytically you must be able to work effectively across different business units and locations.

You will have a proven track record of leading, motivating and re-energising teams across sales, marketing and specialist product areas. This will be demonstrated in examples where you have built and developed high levels of competence through change management and leadership to achieve a high performance culture and team.

As a leader and owner of full P'n'L you will play a key role in the development and execution of a strategy for the broader business, across both B2B and B2C. This will see you devising plans and working closely with in-house and external to build a strong message and strategy to ensure growth within the business unit across a competitive industry space.
