Angels investing millions over dinner!

We have assisted local start-ups raise over $5 Million AUD over our last four Innovation Bay Pitch Dinners, and it all starts with a 90 second elevator pitch...

InnovationBay Angel network is Australia's only technology focused angel network.  The network comprises of around 60 technology focused venture capitalist, angels, entrepreneurs and experienced executives who come together in a close, intimate and supportive environment to help create an ecosystem to support great technology innovation.   To date IB Angels have held four dinners and assisted companies raise over $5M in seed funding. 

We have made it easy for companies wishing to pitch, no IM's, not Business Plans, all you need to do is submit a 90 second elevator video pitch of your business and outline your product or service, the market your seeking to penetrate and what part of the market you can develop over what period of time.  The style is orientated to similar events in the valley, where substance comes down to product knowledge and market placement.  Once you have submitted your video pitch, we ask the angels who are attending the dinner to view each video pitch and comment and vote within a close online environment. 

The top three pitches are asked then to present at the dinner in person, where they are given 10 min to speak followed by 10 min of Q&A and an ability to network with the angels over the course of the night.   We also encourage angels to engage directly with pitches that might not get through to present at the dinner.  Its a great group of people who are passionate about fostering innovation in Technology in Australia, their ability to provide insightful, informed questions has been helpful to all those who have pitched.
