The Australian Digital Health Agency - History

  • In November 2013, the Australian Government commissioned a review of the Personally Controlled eHealth Record (PCEHR) (the Review) to assess the status of the PCEHR implementation and to work with health professionals and industry to prioritise further implementation. The Review was released on 19 May 2014.

While the team here at MitchelLake has been busy sourcing leadership and building teams for cutting edge ventures and digital initiatives across the globe, continued growth in our APAC and US operations has encouraged the firm to invest significantly in our own leadership assets.

MitchelLake has always hosted interesting events. In fact, we nurture our ecosystem perhaps a little too much at times. Where our competitors are stalking through LinkedIn or cold calling their clients, we’re much more likely to be kicking back with a beer at our Beertech event or tucking into a breakfast wrap in the crowd while we listen to a couple of our mates talk about growing their fintech startups in Melbourne.

In a world full of increasingly short attention spans and wave upon wave of options, when it comes to products and services, never has there been a more important time to be trustworthy and relevant when delivering offerings to us extremely fickle consumers. You really do only have one shot to create an impact and elicit engagement so relevance and timing is everything. Lucky it is also a world that is full of exciting, evolving technologies that enable the ability to deliver something compelling to cut through the noise.
