As an online platform, Hireup is built to revolutionise the way people with disability find, hire and manage support workers by harnessing technology and connecting people with shared interests, bringing the peer-to-peer economy to the Australian disability sector.
Hireup has experienced rapid growth over the last 18 months, growing from 10 staff to over 100 HQ staff, and are poised to continue to scale significantly. They were seeking to appoint a COO to steer this growth; to support the CEO by owning the operations of the business; and to further develop and execute on the strategic plan, in alignment with the goals and vision of the company. Reporting to and working in close partnership with the CEO, this new operational leader would ultimately be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the company. The COO would rely on their commercial, strategic, operational and financial expertise to guide the business forward and provide the leadership and foresight required to ensure Hireup maintains strong financial performance and world-class operational efficiencies. From developing long term strategy through to excellent operational and customer experience leadership, the COO would start operating from the very heart of the business from day one.
