With deep heritage in telecommunications research, world-first transmission of IoT data direct to nanosatellite was achieved in 2013. Myriota has made this ground-breaking technology commercially available for partners worldwide.
Myriota was looking to appoint a commercially-minded, senior executive to lead the company’s sales and marketing strategy while driving revenue growth. The primary remit of the role would be to continue to expand in market, build the sales process and structure, leverage and coach the existing team, and drive increase in the number of conversions and new client partnerships. The position required significant sales experience to maximise growth opportunities, along with people leadership to ensure the team was supported in and accountable for their results.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the CRO would be a strategic leader who could implement robust sales methodologies, create a culture of supportive accountability, and capitalise fully on Myriota’s market opportunities. The CRO would be accountable for all aspects of the ongoing sales operations of the company, and would continue to build on the operational measures already in place manage pipelines and forecasting. An important part of the role would be providing strong leadership and vision to the team of 3 staff across sales and marketing which is expected to grow to over 20 by the end of 2020.
